Electrochemistry Test Engineer (Paid, PPO Opportunity)

Description: We are looking for curious, detail oriented recent graduates who enjoy learning from fundamentals and working hands on in a lab.As an Electrochemistry Test Engineer Intern, you will support the assembly, testing, and electrochemical characterization of advanced electrolyser cells. The role emphasizes strong fundamentals, careful observation, analytical thinking, and clear technical communication rather than prior industry experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in assembling single‑cell and small multi‑cell electrolyser setups
- Perform electrochemical tests such as:
- Polarization curves
- Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS)
- Basic gas purity measurements
- Log experimental data accurately (operating conditions, results, observations)
- Observe experiments closely and note deviations or anomalies
- Analyse test data to understand materials and performance behaviour
- Prepare clear lab notes, test summaries, and short technical reports
Required Qualification:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s graduates are welcome. Fundamentals, observation, and thinking ability matter more than the degree title
- Strong foundation in chemistry, electrochemistry, or materials science
- Evidence of analytical thinking and self‑directed learning through projects or lab work
- Comfortable working in a laboratory environment.
