Business Development Intern (Paid, PPO Opportunity)

Description: We are looking for a self driven Business Development Intern who is curious about technology, markets, and customer needs, and who enjoys building long term, trust based relationships.This is a paid, hands on internship designed for recent graduates who want real exposure to consultative business development in a deep tech startup, with a clear pathway to a full time PPO based on performance.The role focuses on learning the technology, understanding stakeholders, and supporting relationship led growth, not hard sales.
Responsibilities:
- Support building and maintaining long‑term relationships with customers, partners, and ecosystem stakeholders
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and communicate Hyetron’s value proposition clearly
- Work closely with internal technical teams to learn the technology and translate it into market‑relevant conversations
- Assist in identifying new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaboration models
- Track market trends, industry developments, and policy or regulatory updates
- Support market entry efforts, use‑case exploration, and customer engagement activities
- Participate in meetings, discussions, and industry interactions as a Hyetron representative
- Maintain basic documentation and tracking of engagements, learnings, and insights
Required Qualification:
- Graduates only (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree completed)
- Strong interest in business, technology, and emerging industries
- Ability to work independently with accountability and initiative
- Good communication, interpersonal, and relationship‑building skills
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new markets, technologies, and business models
Preferred Qualification:
- Exposure or strong interest in clean energy, hydrogen, renewable energy, infrastructure, or deep‑tech sectors
- Internship, project, or early professional experience involving customer or stakeholder interaction
