Mechanical Engineer Intern (Paid)

Description: We’re looking for someone who is excited by real-world engineering and solving practical problems. This role focuses on CAD, engineering drawings, vendor coordination, prototyping, and testing, with direct exposure to real hardware.
Responsibilities:
- Work on CAD models (Fusion 360 preferred)
- Create clear engineering drawings for manufacturing
- Coordinate with vendors to fabricate parts and iterate designs
- Translate design concepts into real parts and assemblies
- Apply engineering fundamentals across mechanics, materials, fluid flow, and thermal aspects
- Support prototyping, assembly, and basic testing activities
- Document work through structured report writing, including design notes, test results, and learnings
Required Qualification:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering (recent graduate)
- Strong fundamentals in mechanics, materials, and thermodynamics
- Experience with CAD tools (Fusion 360 / SolidWorks)
- Good understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
- High ownership mindset and intent to build and grow
Preferred Qualification:
- Hands-on exposure to prototyping, fabrication, or workshop environments
- Experience working with vendors or understanding supply/manufacturing workflows
- Exposure to fluid systems, thermal systems, or energy systems
- Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment
