Description: We are seeking a highly motivated PLC Programming & Control Systems Intern to build and implement control and automation for real internal projects, working on industrial systems from day one. Ideal candidates have a strong foundation in PLC programming and hands-on experience in control system integration.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement PLC programs (Ladder Logic, Structured Text, or Function Block).
- Design and configure I/O mapping and signal interfacing with sensors, actuators, relays, and other field devices.
- Perform testing, debugging, and validation of PLC control logic.
- Work on control panel wiring, signal tracing, and hardware troubleshooting.
- Integrate PLC systems with HMI/SCADA interfaces for monitoring and control.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for PLC logic, wiring diagrams, and system configurations.
Required Qualification:
- Completed a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
- Strong understanding of PLC programming and industrial automation systems.
- Familiarity with PLC platforms such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Schneider.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, CAN, Ethernet/IP) is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of electrical fundamentals (circuits, components, and system behavior)
- Hands-on experience with wiring, panel building, and hardware debugging.
- Familiarity with tools like AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar is a plus.
