Engineering Trainee – Electrolyser Testing & Validation

Description: You will work directly on real electrolyser systems, testing, troubleshooting, and improving performance. The role is hands-on and thinking-intensive, focused on understanding why things behave the way they do, not just following instructions.
Responsibilities:
- Support electrolyser stack testing and validation
- Monitor and log performance data (voltage, current, efficiency, degradation)
- Assist in test setup assembly, instrumentation, and debugging
- Identify anomalies and suggest logical root-cause hypotheses
- Contribute to experiment design and test improvements
- Document observations clearly and concisely
Required Qualification:
Strong Interest (Most Important)
- Strong interest in electrochemistry, water electrolysis, catalysts, and green hydrogen technologies
- Genuine curiosity about how electrochemical systems work and why performance changes over time
- Passion for hands-on experimentation, testing, and real-world engineering challenge

Basic Requirements
- Background: Chemistry / Physics
- Working understanding of:
- Electrochemistry and basic electrical/ mechanical systems
- Measurements (voltage, current, temperature, pressure)
- Hands-on mindset with tools and lab setups
